| i was straightening cards at avant card when i heard an abrupt, with an
exclamation mark kinda sounding "excuse me" near the counter. i looked
back and saw a man there, apologized and went to the counter.
he showed me a dollar bill and told me to exchange it for a crisp, new dollar bill.
"give me the crispest one you got."
i found the newest, crispest looking one and gave it to him, but he
yelled, "no! not that one! lemme see the one on top." i showed him, he
yelled, "NO! GOD! gimme the one on bottom." so i gave it to him, and he
got angry.
at this point.. i was pretty scared. i was the only one working and i
didn't know what to do. i apologized and asked if he wanted the bottom
one, and he grabbed all three dollars and yelled, "f---ing chinese! go
back to f---ing china!"
and walked out.
i was shocked. and hurt. and embarrassed. and. ashamed. i began to
think.. that he had no right to do that. that was horrible. he was
horrible. why? ! ? ! but then. i realized. no hannah!
yes, he hurt me. and yeah, it might not have been a good thing to do...
but shame on me for judging him. for thinking that i didn't need God's grace as much as he did.
that i was somehow a better person.
that he fell short of God's glory more than i did..
to the man who walked into avant card at 3:35 today, i am so sorry.
i pray that the love of Christ may dwell within your heart so richly,
so deeply that others may see it and rejoice in our Lord who is so so
good..
Father,
thank You.. for being so good to us.
for the grace You give us daily... as undeserving, wretched, depraved
sinners... before a loving, merciful, gracious and awesome God.
thank You.

A friend named Sam Kim (Tall, reminds me of Danny Kim from CYG) wants to go to England.
I would like to go to England, but would rather go to China or Korea. I
watched a movie recently... "Beijing Bicycle" and though movies are not
accurate portrayals of reality, traveling to a foreign country alone would be scary and adventerous. oo.. adventure!
Minkyong might go to Korea in the summer! That would be cooool! I heard
some sketch status-dank about Yonsei summer program. Good things too.
Today is Hana Paek's birthday!  Yay Hana!
